The job
Set up and run 5-axis mills on aluminium, steel and titanium parts, from a single prototype to batches of several thousand. You prove the first part with the quality lab and hold the process after that.

- Three years on 5-axis or mill-turn machines
- You read a drawing and its tolerances without help
- In-cycle probing and tool-life management
- You measure your own work
The job
Weld frames, housings and gear cases up to six metres, by hand and beside the robot cell. Most work is structural steel and stainless, some aluminium.

- A current welder qualification (AWS D1.1 or equal)
- You plan a weld sequence to keep a frame true
- Comfortable with fixtures and a tape as much as a torch
The job
Own first article inspection for new parts: plan the measurement, program the CMM, write the report and tell the customer plainly when a drawing cannot be held.
