Tidewater used to buy frames, blocks and pipework from four suppliers and assemble on site. We now fabricate, machine, assemble and test the complete skid, which took their lead time from seven weeks to nine working days.

Fixture and programme
We design the workholding, write the programme and simulate the cut, so the first part off the machine is already close.
- 03Week 2
First article
The first part is measured on every feature. The report goes to the customer and the run waits for their sign-off.
- 04Every batch
Run, measure, ship
Series parts are checked in process and at final inspection, then packed with the report that carries their serial numbers.
